Chief Justice Martha Koome chaired the 25th National Council on the Administration of Justice (NCAJ) meeting held in Nairobi. The meeting focused on various issues affecting the justice chain especially enhancing justice sector funding, means to improve the support of witness expenses and pro-bono legal aid services. Since its inception in 2011, the Council has provided a platform for actors in the justice chain to design responses to challenges within the sector.
